I like this store, I go there three times a day sometimes.  The people that work there are super nice and know me well now.  I like the fact that I can walk in anytime and find what I need especially my cigarettes.  They got awesome deals on sandwiches too. (Windermere)

Great local store.  The owners are super nice, friendly and extremely hard working.  I love supporting small businesses like this one. The sandwiches are the best deal in town! (Mei M.)

Such a wonderful addition to the neighborhood with their super friendly attitude and super clean store. The former store-owner was not friendly, grumpy, could care less about his customers, where Dik and crew are all about service. I go there all the time for some of the bargain items, which are lower than the big box stores! (Brock MacLean)

On our way to try Lafarge lake for rainbow trout where I caught more sticks than fish. I looked at my local app and found this place. Wow this is a great little spot people were friendly and helpful, prices were average but $4 for 2 little sandwiches was perfect Tuna & Buffalo yes finally a place offering alternative meats to beef pork or chicken. I recommend this for the impromptu picnic to Buntzen, Sasamat, or water park at Perry stadium. (Will Douglas)

Its a beautiful store and the people that work there are super nice. They make wicked paninis, the turkey and vegetarian to die for. (Jives)

This delicatessen is a good alternative to Quiznos and 7-Eleven. They have a full service deli counter with cheese, meats and pastries. I ordered a Roast Beef Sandwich with jalapenos that was made right before my eyes. The lady grilled my meat and bread, and the entire sandwich was served hot. Amount of meat and cheese was fairly generous. It tasted very good.

I also ordered a cinnamon bun that was refrigerated, which implied that it might not have been freshly made that day. I ate it cold, and in retrospect, I should have reheated it in a microwave. Reheating it would’ve made it softer, but the limited amount of icing and cinnamon would still have been demerits.

The sandwich was good, the service was good and I will come back again. But, next time, I’ll probably stay clear of the refrigerated pastries.  Interestingly, this place also sells a variety of items you’d more likely find at a dollar store. So, if you want hunting knives or flashlights to go with your sandwich, Dik’s is the place to go. (Stan L.)
